Robert Watson LLB (Hons)
I qualified as a Solicitor in January 1998. I have been the owner of the Practice since July 2008. I am responsible for the overall management of the Practice as well as specialising in all matters relating to ‘Private Client’ work including Wills, Probate and Administration, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Working with the Elderly.
I am a Fully Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly, The Law Society Private Client Section and Action Against Elder Abuse. I deal with clients and matters in a sensitive, calm, caring but professional manner. One of the best compliments I received was from a previous client who remarked, “Very friendly, approachable, kind, and well, just…….normal”! That just about sums me up”.
I am delighted to have joined the team at KK Law in Hemel Hempstead as a Specialist Family Lawyer and Accredited Family Mediator. I am passionate about supporting families and helping to resolve difficulties arising from relationship breakdown and separation issues.
My family work is wide-ranging and includes all issues arising from separation or other domestic circumstances including financial and child arrangements. I have experience working in Family Mediation since 2009 with my particular focus being on helping clients explore alternative methods of finding solutions and I qualified as an Accredited Family Mediator in 2010 and a Child Inclusive Mediator in 2012.
As a Member of Resolution (an organisation of family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association) I am committed to their guidelines which aim to foster a non-confrontational approach and to resolve cases as amicably, fairly and cost-effectively as possible.
Outside of the office, I am devoted to my family and friends and I enjoy social engagements, going to the theatre, and the occasional spot of retail therapy!
